  In recent years, LED display is a hot new media technology. Compared with other display technologies such as LCD screens and projections, LED displays have the advantages of bright colors, stable display, long service life and wide visual range, and they are used in commercial advertising, intelligent monitoring, important conferences, command centers, etc. For user, the viewing distance of the LED display is very important, which affects the spread of the advertisement and the viewing angle of the user.   To understand the calculation of the visual distance of the LED display,firstly you need to understand the implication of "pixel pitch" of the LED display. The "pixel pitch" of the LED display refers to the center distance between two adjacent pixels. The pitch is usually expressed by “P”, which is calculated in “mm”, P10 represents that LED display has a pixel pitch of 10mm. In general, the calculation formula which for calculating the best and farthest visual distance of the LED display is below:

  

  1.The visual distance of LED full color screen = pixel pitch(mm) × 500 ~ pixel pitch (mm) × 1000

  

  2.The visible distance of LED display  = pixel pitch (mm) × 1000

  

  3.The best viewing distance of the LED display = pixel pitch (mm) × 3000 ~ pixel pitch(mm) × 1000

  

  4.The farthest visual distance of LED screen:= screen height (m) × 30 (times)
